Today's TILT - 02/24/2024


I can tell you what to eat, and when to eat it.
I can tell you which exercises to do, and which one’s to avoid.
I can tell you which fitness fads are legit, and which one’s are empty promises.

That’s exactly what my role is as your trainer.

But what happens when we stop working together?
But what happens when there’s a new “Best exercise for…”?
What happens when scientists discover a new magic pill?
What happens when you’ve lost the fire you once had?
What happens if you haven’t learned how to take your well-being into your own hands?

How are you better off?

Honestly, the thought keeps me up at night. If you don’t leave more empowered and self-sufficient than when when you walked in, I’ve failed.

This is why I needed to become more than a trainer. I became a coach.

As your coach, my role is to:

…show you different perspectives.
…allow you to make mistakes, safely.
…encourage you to think critically.
…teach you the mechanisms of the body. (The hows…)
…share insight to potential outcomes. (…and the whys.)

And most importantly,
…support you to confidently make your own decisions for your own well-being.

Everything else I do is gravy. (And not the canned shit, either.)
